Cuisinier en internat – Hienghène

About the role

The position is based in the internat of Hienghène and reports to the head chef. The cook is responsible for preparing balanced meals for students, ensuring compliance with hygiene standards (HACCP) and dietary guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, distribute and serve meals, including cold dishes.
• Package meals for delivery and respect production timelines.
• Participate in the internat’s project actions and uphold hygiene and safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, cold rooms (-18°C) and equipment.
• Handle heavy loads when receiving palletized goods.

Required profile

• Certificate (BEP/CAP) in collective catering.
• Knowledge of HACCP hygiene and safety procedures.
• Ability to design menus and apply culinary techniques.
• Good understanding of nutrition and dietetics.
• Organisational skills, teamwork orientation and adaptability to regulatory changes.
