Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Technician

About the role

Jet Aviation is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join its New Caledonia base in Païta. The role involves performing maintenance on fixed‑wing and rotary‑wing aircraft in line with manuals, regulations and customer requirements while ensuring safety.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct post‑flight and AOG troubleshooting and repairs.
• Prepare aircraft for flight and perform post‑flight debriefings with crew.
• Execute line maintenance, scheduled base inspections and component changes under supervision.
• Sign off Aircraft Part Removal Sheets (APRS) for licensed work.
• Participate in aircraft towing, interior and exterior cleaning according to Jet Aviation procedures.

Required profile

• Native French speaker with good English proficiency.
• Technical degree (BTS/Associate) and 1‑2 years of relevant study.
• Previous experience in an aircraft maintenance facility.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow aviation safety regulations.

Required skills

• B1, B2 and/or C aircraft maintenance licence.
• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Competent use of Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to read and apply technical manuals and Jet Aviation procedures.
