About the role

The public health authority of Province Nord is seeking a qualified General Practitioner to ensure continuity of care at the medical‑social centre in Voh. The position involves curative, preventive, and administrative duties within a community‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide curative medicine: consultations, emergency care, and tribal visits.
• Deliver preventive services: school health, maternal‑child health, tuberculosis screening, occupational and sports medicine, health education, and public hygiene.
• Manage administrative tasks: personnel and material resources, reporting, and health‑social monitoring.
• Maintain external partnerships and oversee the centre’s pharmacy.
• Participate in civil‑security training and support neighboring medical‑social centres when needed.
• Prepare an annual activity report.

Required profile

• Medical degree with strong competence in general and emergency medicine (CAMU preferred).
• Knowledge of public health; additional expertise in gynecology‑obstetrics, pediatrics, cardiology, endocrinology, or infectiology is a plus.
• Valid driver’s licence (category B).
• Ability to work autonomously in isolated settings and with Oceanian populations.
