Operations Coordinator - New Caledonia

About the role

Deblock is building a non-custodial onchain bank and is launching in New Caledonia. It is looking for its first local hire, an Operations Coordinator, a hands-on, execution-focused role reporting to the New Caledonia Market Lead and working closely with the central Operations team. The coordinator makes sure VISA cards reach the right places and knows exactly how many are activated, where and by whom.

Key responsibilities

• Receive VISA card shipments, manage local stock securely and keep accurate inventory records
• Deliver cards to local distribution partners, keep locations stocked and organise restocks
• Track the number of cards activated by each partner, maintain the reporting dashboard and share regular updates (this is the main KPI)
• Act as the day-to-day contact for partners on the ground, answering questions, resolving small issues and escalating larger ones
• Report back locally on partner feedback, customer questions and other insights

Required profile

• Organised, dependable and comfortable working in the field
• Keeps clean records and pays attention to detail (stock counts, delivery logs, activation numbers)
• Comfortable with data: can maintain a tracking spreadsheet and spot trends early
• Friendly, professional face for local distribution partners, with good communication
• Knowledge of Noumea and the wider territory; a driver's licence is a strong plus
• First experience in logistics, stock management, retail operations or field support is an advantage
• Existing local relationships in retail or distribution are a strong plus
