PMO Expert – Project Management Office Lead

About the role

The PMO Expert will oversee and enhance project and program management practices across Ikigai Dynamics, ensuring consistency, governance, and alignment with strategic objectives. This full‑time, on‑site role based in Noumea partners with project managers, program leads, and stakeholders to standardize methodologies, templates, and reporting frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project performance and manage portfolio dashboards to provide transparent visibility of progress, milestones, and key metrics.
• Coordinate regular status review meetings and support the identification, tracking, and mitigation of risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Drive continuous process improvements and mentor project teams on best‑practice methodologies and governance standards.
• Contribute to budgeting, resource planning, and financial tracking activities to ensure projects stay within approved limits.

Required profile

• Demonstrated program and project management experience, having led multiple initiatives or portfolios and ensured delivery against strategic goals.
• Strong analytical and budgeting capabilities to track performance, assess variances, and support data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder collaboration, clear reporting, and facilitation of governance meetings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field; PMP, PgMP or other PMO‑specific certifications are advantageous.
