About the role

The selected candidate will work under the service manager to support individuals, families, and groups in overcoming difficulties, improving well‑being, and participating in social life. The role covers a polyvalent sector, providing open‑door reception and assistance with financial, administrative, psychological, or educational challenges, especially in child protection.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct meetings, home visits, and scheduled appointments with clients.
• Provide reception, listening, assessment, advice, information, and referral.
• Carry out social evaluations requested by magistrates, child protection services, and social action departments.
• Participate in adoption procedures, commissions, and decision‑making meetings.
• Develop partnerships with institutions, services, and associations working in social and child‑protection fields.
• Contribute to social action reflections, promote preventive actions, cover for absent colleagues, mentor interns, and produce annual activity reports.

Required profile

• State diploma of Assistant of Social Services (mandatory).
• Knowledge of local realities and preferably professional experience.
• Valid B‑category driving licence.
• Professional rigor, strong ethics, initiative, autonomy, and high responsiveness to emergencies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork orientation, and strong organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software: Excel, Outlook, and Word.
